Not to mention the whole space time scenario.. If you travel back in time and die before you would have been born would you even exist to be sent back in time again or would a new timeline be created

A former baser, not hard to figure out who, started a discussion on Facebook about whether images created using AI can be considered ‘art’ and whether selling said images is considered theft. It’s an interesting discussion.
Thoughts?

I don’t think selling the images is theft but I do think it’s kind of weird. But at the same time, if someone wants to give you money for something like that, go for it.
The idea of it being art is hard. It’s kind of insulting to painters and sculptors and people who draw etc. but at the same time it could be considered art since it is being created and it’s visual.
I don’t know. Some of its cool but I’m not really impressed by most of it to be honest.

Its mildly entertaining but shallow and mostly without any real value. I think its unfortunate that now all sorts of data that includes patented creative works is used without mention to the original to create uninspired robot works that may completely steal the creative effort of folks to develop a cheap knock off that consumers may prefer, but I figure it will just change the way folks produce and share their work in the future. It will also create a divide among folks that seek out and value authentic pieces vs. computer generated stuff.
