It seems like the police don't want to say what they do know.  ergo they are corrupt.

I mean, I don't want to have to deal with the cops, but some desperate and violent people are deterred every minute of every day from ravaging people that they would otherwise victimize SOLEY because they see the challenge of avoiding detection and arrest. They still find some victims but DEFINITELY have more of a challenge

I can see how an ideal off the grid libertarian yada yada might be appealing and could be considered a whole complete opposite to the fear of a potentially developing police state. But it isn't and never ever will be (not without a huge increase of citizen on citizen crime). We need to focus on changing the current policing procedures, It is utterly stupid to start seeing the problems within our policing and suggest that the best alternative is getting rid of it altogether.
