That's gotta be a tough gig in a way - though I'm sure you're up for it. I'd imagine the key is to pace yourself. Judging for smell/taste is one thing, but how do you judge the high if you've just smoked five other entries and are already higher than a Georgia pine?
My only suggestion would be to wear one of your dashikis during the judging. Looks professional and would give you an air of authority.

Don Swifty if I'm not mistaken the judging takes place a week or 2 before the actual event We get the submitted samples, judge them ahead of time, then at the event are mor eof the mouth piece on what is being presented Agreed, be pretty tough to know what's gettin me to know the right time if I had to go back to back watch trying Winner in each category , there is a thousand bucks grand prize and a peoples choice gets five hundred I believe Categories are Flower Solventless concentrates Edibles

I judged a local contest a few years in a row. The fool hosting the contest kept wanting us to judge flowers, extracts and edibles. And he gave us only a week. He had everything tested and I guess that's how it all lined up with getting everything back from the lab and the actual party. The flower and extract was pretty easy because most of the samples only required a few puffs and I could tell they were not winners. The edibles on the other hand. That was work. Last year I offered to judge again but not edibles. He told me he isn't giving out all that flower and extract to someone not judging edibles too.
Fuck edibles.
Mostly. Like 95% of the time.

Yeah judging Edibles would be tough, I moretabs had these awesome Edibles from Massachusetts back when he kicked it in the roc that one nite
They were sativa bombs, got all of us back into the party mood
Other than that, I can't really remember distinct feelins other than stoned, too stoned and fucked up

I didn't fully appreciate at the time, but I now have fond memories of doing the last eye dropperful of the bottom of a bottle of tincture which must of been super concentrated at that point and just taking off my clothes and lying down on the cool bathroom tile and chilling for a couple of hours. That cool cool tile was just what I needed at that moment.

4 weeks since I've puffed. Pretty easy this time. Biggest urges are when I'm in between things to do and I noticed I definitely would be getting super baked right now. Sometimes I feel sorta perma baked.
