The gf was reading me a comment on an article yesterday basically saying these people aren't pro life they are pro birth. As all they care about is the baby being born. Once it's born they don't care about access to health care, education, sustainable income, welfare services (if needed), etc. Thus pro birth not pro life.
Never thought of it that way but is a valid point. Either way i don't think it will change any minds of thw rich old white male law makers.

Never thought of it that way but is a valid point. Either way i don't think it will change any minds of thw rich old white male law makers. I’ve been saying this for years. They want to create more people and cut all social programs to help the (largely poor) people they insist on creating. And when some kid who grew up in a dirt poor, drug addled household grows up and ends up in a robbery/homicide, what’s the answer? Kill him. Oh, and spend a fucking fortune doing it. dunt dunt duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun So, those folks that are pro-choice...I get that they believe a woman can do what she wants with her body...does that mean those folks don't consider a fetus to be a living thing? Even if a fetus isn't viable on its on, is it not a life? I'm just curious more than anything. I've been pro-choice for most of my life. Legs is very much pro-life. I think there is a fundamental difference in how people view a fetus before viability and that distinction makes a big difference about how people fall on this topic. My questions to you What about the life after fetus ? What about the mother whoaye have been assualted/raped? These white Christian assholes care about the zygote, and not the human. And the co sequences it may yield or that society may yield if said fetus turns into the next big serial killer / tyrant (EXTREME example) How do you feel about the life that may now have to struggle grind, claw, and who knows what else beyond being born to "survive"? Pro lifers (no offense and not singling you out)seem to care about the baby part of life only and not the whole picture Our bodies our choices , if the gubment, told you you could no longer get tattoos cause it damages your skin would prolly piss many off...no? |
