So, those folks that are pro-choice...I get that they believe a woman can do what she wants with her body...does that mean those folks don't consider a fetus to be a living thing? Even if a fetus isn't viable on its on, is it not a life?
I'm just curious more than anything. I've been pro-choice for most of my life. Legs is very much pro-life.
I think there is a fundamental difference in how people view a fetus before viability and that distinction makes a big difference about how people fall on this topic.

I personally think at conception you have a developing human being.
I think that abortion as a medical procedure or social necessity has been going on forever. I also think that if we do jot provide safe and judgment free abortions, back alley abortions will be had by our mothers, sisters, daughters etc.
And that's it.

I find myself becoming more pro-life as time goes on. Maybe Legs is wearing me down.
I was pro-choice because I don't like the idea of making the rules for someone else.
I feel more strongly than I ever did that a fetus is a living thing the second it's created and that ending it is tantamount to murder.
I believe in women's rights but I don't believe that a woman has the right to end a life (beside her own, but that's another topic altogether).

I'm still not sure where I fall on abortions due to rape/incest/etc. I can sympathize with the victim, but I still think the unborn has a right to life.

Their signs were terrible and I will never see them as the reasonable people after that. |

So that child gets to come out and be unwanted/have all that baggage on them before they have even begun to live a life? Are you going to care for that child if it put up for adoption? How great is that life in that system? Those are also questions to deal with. |

There's plenty of people that are pro life that have never been in front of an abortion clinic in their lives. Don't paint with a broad brush.
