I think baby killing is wrong. But feel that is an important choice and up to the woman. But it is still what it is.

it is tricky, though. How do you rectify laws we accept and how abortion lines u with them. Is the taking of a life in law, a moral issue or a social standard? is it arrogant to say that one should not take another individuals life?
I think women should be able to make decisions about thier body and the biological workings in them, even if it includes a developing human being. On the flipside, women are criminally charged if they willfully neglect or inflict harm upon the developing human being through drug use, etc. How does that compare with abortion?
its very complicated. I feel like most hard lines drawn tend to ignore some of the difficult points of the issue. To take them all into account sincerely would leave many folks at a stalemate.

A blastocyst is not a person and sperm isn't a person, and certainly not an innocent life. You are not a person if you don't have a brain.

once the 2 haploid zygotes gametes combine to form a zygote and begin cell divisions with a full set of chromosomes you have a developing human being. That is a fact.
and I personally dont believe there is a soul from conception to death or that sentience and personality etc. is anything more than brain chemistry and basic behavior, so you are either a developing human being or you are dead, there is no supernatural shift that adds legitimacy to life beyond biologically living.
bringin up when something is a human being is irrelevant for the most part, just a way to twist and avoid tough realities.

To answer the original question, while I understand that a fertilized egg is the begging of a life, I do not consider it an actual life until it develops. I don’t believe it is murder.
I believe it is an incredibly hard choice for many women to make, even if....wait for it....it’s the right choice.
I also don’t believe in god, so that helps me with the whole “life” thing. Hunting, even for food, could be considered murder if you throw away the notion that humans are the most important species on the planet, and that it somehow belongs to us.
We may be the most developed, but how can you really say we are more important? Oh, right. God. We were made in his image. And a fertilized egg is another one of God’s own, so it’s murder.
Now go bird/deer hunting with a rifle, because that’s food, not one of God’s own.
I think almost every pro lifer is also religious person, and non religious people shouldn’t have to adopt their morality, much less have their laws dictated by it.
