I've already stated that: 1. I won't judge anyone for having an abortion...there's plenty of factors that I can't/don't/wouldn't know that led up to that point. 2. I think aborting a fetus is taking a life and I think taking a life is wrong. The exception to that rule is that I don't think it's wrong to kill an animal if you intend to eat it. I can't imagine the horrors of rape. If you want me to talk to a social worker in an urban area to find out how bad kids have it...do you think the kids would be better off never having lived? I can't accept that argument. |

Women go through worse trauma murdering their child than being raped, both are horrible but talk to any woman who has done it... But you will probably never know because it's so different somebody would probably sooner talk about a rape than the murder of your kid. It sticks around for life. |

I've talked to people that have had abortions that have regretted it every day of their life since and I've talked to people that have had abortions and hardly give it a second thought.

ABSOLUTELY! in fact, i woke up this morning, in a pissy mood having something to do with grown men who are paid to play a sport not getting a fair shake in life (footnote NFL thread), and I said to myself: if only we could turn jambase into PhantasyTour today--not the part where they leak all the Phish dates in advance, but the part where they rip into one another for being tard and noob and seeing things differently--so that I could have a good reason to get all angry and trolly on the internet with people I otherwise like, well, that would make for a swell MLK day!
I'm not being altogether serious (which is probably obvious but tone is hard on the cybertronz). I actually think Yall are having a pretty good discussion given the nature of the topic. carry on!
I don't really have anything to add: I think I could take 2 parts Lerner, 2 parts Frodo, 2 parts Danimal, and 1 part treetop, and that would pretty well spell out where I stand on it--but it is damn tricky!
