January 25th and finally a couple inches on the ground. Supposedly a big blizzard rolling in Monday. Never saw anything like it here in Michigan. Even at the Mackinaw bridge at Christmas there was no snow. That's crazy (talking climate change here) growing up in northern Michigan, there was never one Christmas where there wasn't at least 10 inches on the ground.
With all the melting going on, I do wonder what will happen here in the near future with the coastal cities and towns around the world. I certainly would be a bit concerned if I lived near a coastline.

Great news guys. The forecast has improved. The high temps tuesday through thursday are, -9, -13, and zero. Thursday was originally forecasted as another full day below zero. Lows still into the -20s each day.
