Was gonna try to go to work, once I got on the road it was obvious that was not going to happen.
The best conditions we have right now are the roads just having a 3-4 inch layer of ice.
Decided to try to get groceries because I am out. Usually a 15 minute drive...not sure how long it took but shits crazy. Some parts of the roads are like ski mogals, when it gets like that in intersections, people get stuck.
Made it back to my apartment to have the fire alarm go off. I guess a pipe burst. So we’ve got a tenet conglomeratation in the lobby with a bunch of freaked out doggies and kitty’s.

our pipes burst in our apartment back in my college days. just so happened to be the day after a party we had. floating red solo cups in our living room in like 4 inches of water was not what i expected to wake up to.
