We had one around this time last year, too. I chose to get nice in spaced and take the whole thing in next to the Grand River. Hopefully I can do it again. It was really cool being able to feel the change in gravitational pull as the eclipse affected our planets electromagnetic field.
It's a rare treat, and I recommend checking it out if you have clear skies that evening.

Huh?
Yea, the effect varied depending on where you were geographically but I heard that there was an entire county somewhere in Minnesota where everyone's chakras were pinned to the ground for several minutes. crazy
Somewhere a few galaxies over an explosion make me make funny in my pants.
I thought this for old times sakes might be a good time to point out that although people may like this, it has the potential to be a Rip Off for the m00n. Nobdy ever thinks about how the moon feels regarding this natural event.
