I'll say this, take a gram, decarb it, then take .1 to .13 and either eat it raw or roll it in cookie dough, some other small baked thing and eat. Eating raw is a slow 3 hour come up and longer plateau high. But those single dose cookies work great. Alternatively, decarb an 1/8th, throw it raw into the batter from a basic box of brownies. I'm probably going to eventually try making some. It's a technique where you take mostly dry but still a bit moist flower (usually sativa) and vacuum seal it and apply low hear to trigger fermentation. Then you allow to dry the rest of the way and can be stored a very long time. Apparently when eaten the high is more like smoking than typical oil based edibles. And it is supposed to be a great way to smoke. Like old school brick weed but done with top shelf flower.

I was looking into getting either a Molecule or Saionara atomizer/vaporizer thinking I'd made some wax but then decided to stick to flower, maybe something simple like kif or hash if I want something more exoctic. Last time I was growing we made crazy amounts of wax and I pretty much stopped bothering with flowers altogether. Fucked up my tolerance and at this point I don't really want/need to be that guy having wax sessions every two hours. So now I'm looking for a vape that'll do dry flowers so when it's not convenient to burn a joint I can be Mr. Discreet. Same with booze. I don't mind a beer or glass or two of wine every now and then, but last time I got drunk I wound up puking on some guys back on the local bus. Luckily it was as we were getting off at our stop so there was no awkwardness (though I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to whoever it was I puked on).

In typical stoner/grower fashion we did lots of experiments with edibles before anyone was measuring thc. And it never really occurred to me that small doses could be more enjoyable. By the time we realized people prefer well under 100mg and most of our treats easily topped 500mg if not 1000. I had already scared almost everyone I know off of edibles. Oops. I felt pretty silly when I had the ipifiny that I could actually use an amount that does not completely destroy people. This was just a year or so ago. I'm a slow learner or something. I had the same experience and your spot on. The problem is it's hard to tell someone to just take a bite of a tasty treat. I used to make two batches. One green and the other not. Lower the strength, eat a cookie, party down on the non-green ones when the munchies take hold.

After this discussion, I decided to try again. 1/2tsp of decarbed eaten with a crunchy peanut butter clif bar seems to be pretty good. I questioned if it was wasteful, briefly, but that amount in a water clock is like one good check. This way builds gradually and lasts hours. Still not the same as a puff, but I'm happy. I'm going to make butter this weekend and go from there, but I kind of like this clif bar method.

arizer.com/solo2/I have the original version of this. Works great. Turns all strains into creeper, makes trop cherry flowers taste absolutely amazing, keeps us from getting charged for smoking in hotels. Luckily I rarely cannot just smoke a fat joint. Fat joint cannot be improved upon. Purchased.

No booze. I shmoked paht this weekend though. It’s been nice taking a break from that too, and I’m going to keep abstaining during the week, but I don’t expect it to last.
No cigarettes, but I have been sucking down the zyns. These things could get anyone addicted to nicotine. I’m still breaking to routine of smoking. I constantly have the urge to put my shoes and coat on to go outside to smoke. But it’s going fine because I have plenty of nicotine in my system. The plan is to do this for a month and wean myself off the nicotine gradually. It has to be better than smoking but it’s still addiction. 🥲

I'm still truckin. I'm enjoying the no hangovers. I'm still getting the crazy dreams. 10 nights in a row. I'm just kinda bored. 3 days weekend with football. I'm just smoking a lot of weed and watching movies. Life is a little dull without my beer

Another positive is the savings. My bank is hurting after a few big expenses late last year. Going out to eat for 2 is now 50-60 used to be 100. I'd drink 12-18 beers a week that's about $30 week. Maybe stop by a bar save another $30

That was my attempt at Joey...
I'm going to extend my dry out on into February. This is nice. Obviously, I'm eating herb daily. No booze makes me more productive in general.

I'm hanging in there. I'm doing it but hitting my limit. Also not really refreshed yet. I'm tempted to extend it to Feb as well but I'm really over it.
I see why rehab can be 90 days. 30 doesn't change much but a decent break

I've been averaging a cheat day once a week but going from drinking at least 1 or 2 ipa tallboys per night to only 1 or 2 per week is still a win and I'm going to try to keep that going.
Honestly I'm having more of cheat weekend this time but I'm planning to get back on track until I go to Maine late Feb.
