This dude is coming to our venue. Not sure what the performance will be. Curious though, but probably not very exciting Just watch out. You might end up a star. Haha yeah now he charges for people to come talk stupid shit into the mic. Double profit.

I’m about 20 mins in on the new hbo one. I have to watch it on my own time cuz Ladyrice ain’t interested. I like Andrew and give him props for goin deep into lions dens but I dislike the many racial slurs so far. It’s very annoying when anyone says it but especially the whites.

"In early January, a woman posted a TikTok video alleging that Callaghan had stayed at her house and propositioned her for sex multiple times. “[He] eventually got my consent because he wore me down,” said Caroline Elise on her TikTok account @cornbreadasserole. “It’s even more hard to have to relive the trauma that I endured every single day by seeing this man as a social justice warrior, as someone who cares about human rights, get a platform. You shouldn’t be supporting him.” Shortly after Elise’s allegations made waves on TikTok, another woman named Dana, on her TikTok account @moldyfreckle, alleged that Callaghan pressured her to have sex in her car after a previous sexual encounter that she found “mean” and “demeaning.” “I told him to stop. I told him to get off of me multiple times,” she says in the video. “He tried to put my hand down his pants and I was fighting against him during this, telling him to please stop.”" variety.com/2023/digital/news/andrew-callaghan-allegations-tim-heidecker-1235484693/"A legal rep for the journalist tells TMZ, "Andrew is devastated that he is being accused of any type of physical or mental coercion against anyone. Conversations about pressure and consent are extremely important and Andrew wants to have these conversations, so he can continue to learn and grow." Adding, "While every dynamic is open to interpretation and proper communication is critical from all those involved, repeated requests for money should not be part of these conversations." Andrew's legal rep tells us he vows to be better with balanced communication and improve himself, and wants to remind his audience that "while even one concerned partner is too many, there are always multiple sides to a story."" www.tmz.com/2023/01/12/andrew-callaghan-all-gas-no-brakes-responds-sexual-assault-accusation/

“A source with direct knowledge tells us Caroline requested money from Andrew, referencing the "fat check" he got from HBO for his documentary. She allegedly asked to be paid just minutes before the doc aired.
We're told Andrew didn't pay up, and Caroline uploaded the TikTok a few days later -- urging others to come forward, which is exactly what happened.”
What about that part? This is why there’s an issue with sexual assault allegations. I’m not supporting him but if you were that traumatized, no amount of money is going to make it better. File criminal charges.

On one hand actions beyond a certain line cannot be tolerated and women need to feel comfortable coming forward with thier experiences that left them victimized. On the other hand, humans among the entirety of the gender spectrum are ruthless and are inclined to exploit any opportunity for some type of gain.
One person's coercion is another's basic response to hard to get. How all this is interpreted can be very personal. Folks express thier sexuality and it's pursuit in so many weird ways. There are lines where when they are crossed it is a full on violation, and then there is a lot of gray area that not everyone regardless of good intentions could ever agree upon.
For me, in referencing difficult experiences, mistakes, miscommunication, ignorance and sometimes blatant selfishness in the moment, for myself and peers over the years, I've landed where there are no pick ups, no games, no bs if one wants to be safe in sexual encounters. There are adults that can have a mutual conversation and engage in activities as sober friends to start until boundaries are developed and trust is confirmed, allowing for deeper exploration of sexual expression. Anything outside of that approach allows for so much risk for both/all folks involved.
I have so many more thoughts on this type of stuff but it's too much to type.

Bummer if true
See how it plays out in the courts?
I dunno, the whole timing is what seems off, however when is the right time to come forward with that information?
I would think the sooner the better, however never been in the situation so...don't know

I feel in cases like these, the accused needs to come out with a full description of their interpretation of the encounter and own any questionable approaches yet stand their ground if they believe something is being misrepresented or they felt they interpreted portions of the encounter differently than the accuser. Similarly, if one is going to accuse, be detailed in how the encounter became a victimization. Leaving unknowns doesn't allow for a true consideration for social, moral or legal justice and definitely doesn't allow for folks outside of or involved in the situation to learn from it. This is more in cases where its not a full on criminal situation and more of a social and moral issue. If the accuser cannot describe explicitly how the lines were crossed, how can they be evaluated for fault? If the accused cannot come out with a full description of their interpretation of the encounter, how could anyone consider that they may be wrongfully accused?
I would hope he would come out and describe the encounter, owning any potentially questionable or embarrassing details and apologizing for anything that he may now see as wrong. Vague statements seem to aggravate the situation but I can see a legal team insisting on that approach.
Time will tell.
Whatever happened with Win Butler?

It just kind of seems like blackmail? Pay me or I’ll post this on Tik Tok? If he had paid her would she have never said anything?
Again, I’m not supporting him by any means but it just sounds weird
