They found two dead bald eagles in a park near me that had died locked together in a talon grip. That is apparently common in mating, fighting and courting rituals and the thought is that they were electrocuted while they were connected and fell to the ground together. That sucks.  |

I saw a hawk this morning carrying a 3 foot black plastic bag... probably taken for nesting. At first I thought it was prey.

The Horned Owl was back last night, didn’t see him but he was close, could hear him inside the house. It’s been quite awhile since he’s been around.

There's no way you can get a chicken to sit still while you dangle a pocket watch in front of it's face long enough to put it under a spell. I'm still in though, the trying sounds like half the fun
