We also have another wedding on Sunday. Dan the Man (formerly Dick Move Dan) is getting hitched for the third and hopefully final time. He’s a good dude, decent guitar player, recently divorced and everyone really liked his ex she was nice. That wedding seems like just the other day. This new chick is the bartender at his favorite spot. My best friend is this guys best man, again. Come to think of it my best friend has been Best Man in like 8 or 9 different weddings. He’s a professional best man. So we are taking Dan the Man to the strip club Friday night. That’s gonna be weird in a mask huh.

One year coming back from DelFest we stopped at a rest stop and there were millions it seemed like. The ones we normally have each year are more green with dark eyes. These had red eyes and were creepy. I wish I knew which brood it was. I'm not sure where we were. Probably Ohio. It was probably the 13 year, I think from 2011? |

That's it party's over boys. Put in for two vacation days Thursday and Friday. Currently sitting on a picnic table outside the intake office. Soon I'll be transported over to the main place. I checked into detox for the next 4 days. In almost 40 days, I could not stop using ( no matter how bad or how much I wanted to) dope for even one day. Burned through close to 5k. Had to. No way out. My first time in a actual detox since 2006. Next 4 days should interesting to say the least. 1 is to many and 1000 never enough. Thats gd rite!

Good luck man, glad you are going in! My buddy wrecked his car and got his 2nd dui a couple weeks ago while his wife mourned the death of her father alone 700 miles away. Its astounding what the disease makes us do! He is going back in Sunday and I pray he makes it to Sunday. You're doing the right thing. Much love to you! |

Appreciate all the well wishes. I underestimated the nicotine withdrawal back a month ago. I was over 30 days off nicotine with diet and exercise. Thought I was in the clear not really sensing the post acute withdrawal symptoms that were happening. My character defects were on high alert.. things like anger, depression, and loneliness all the while my defenses were weekend all the while not working a solid program. I forgot about the beast my addiction and how baffling powerful it really is. Lesson learned. Big mistake taking that first one. Big mistake.

Also. I fucking hate car shopping. Any idea how to find a decent truck without actuality going through shopping process? Thought I found a ford explorer sport trac but had a spudder I didn't trust for the price
Then my wife found an avalanche that looked good. Drove 40 miles just in time to see someone else pay him 5 grand and 2 jet skis for it.

Ive moved to buying new so I dont have to do it again for almost a decade, its not for everyone, pros and cons. I always got fucked buying used and my 1 new purchase worked out really well. |
