There was an asshole at my work who used to say "preventative isn't a word" when we would read through law that used it. He was totally wrong and the worst person to work with. |

One time my old CMO at my previous company said the word “irregardless” during a presentation on the big stage and then afterward she said “and I know that is not a word” and I thought it was kinda cute. |

I have to start getting them this year. Do you have a history of colon cancer in your family? I am turning 45 this summer but I do have colorectal cancer in fam history. Normally you wait til 50 I think. I will do this every 5 years I think. Yeah, it killed my grandmother and both my parents have had polyps removed. I was supposed to start last year (45) but With the pandemic, I figured a year wouldn’t kill me. (Famous last words) |

I had to get a colonoscopy when I had diverticulitis. The procedure isn't that bad, it's leading up to the procedure that sucked.

My knickerbockers finally arrived today, so I’ve got two new outfits. The left shirt was a birthday gift last year that I’ve been putting off getting matched up. The right shirt was part of an old outfit who’s pants went better with a newer shirt, so it got some new pants. Not sure which socks to go with on the right outfit. The Van Gogh socks match the color better, but the llama socks have llamas on them... 🤔 What do you think?  |

I've been listening to more music on headphones lately and have been pleasantly suprised by the stereo imaging I've been hearing. I'm making a playlist of all the songs I come across with distinct and/or dramatic left and right elements that twirl around the head - the type of stuff that a portable bluetooth device is not going to give you because it doesn't have two set of speakers.

It's going to be 80 degrees here today, which feels weird because it was in the 50s yesterday. Of course I want to get on my bike and take off, but I have a paper to finish.
