What in the actual fuck is happening and how is this race so close? because despite your belief that Kamala is a slam dunk candidate against Trump, there's still many out there that either aren't inspired by Kamala, don't care anymore, or are still voting for Trump because of other reasons. current odds on Bovada: Trump -120, Harris even Prediction markets in the past have been more accurate than polls, and that was before polling really started becoming less and less accurate. I'm sure in both politics and sports betting there's people who bet with their emotions/desires, but more who bet with their head in a way they think they're most likely to win $. The thoughts and profit motive of the people willing to put their $ where their mouths are vs. the words of paid professional 'expert pundits' likely working for and hoping to keep happy a boss with an agenda. |

My job has me driving all over the state and I have been starting to see a lot of pro Kamala and anti shithead billboards. Mostly around Detroit and suburbs. Some of the have pictures of people saying things such as I am a Christian that voted for shithead twice and I'm voting for Harris or the same but they are a gun owner. And a lot of them show statistics about the economy or jobs and how shithead was worse than idiot and Harris. I think they will be spending a lot of Harris money on ads and billboards this month. Closer to the election they will make sure everyone sees. I also suspect Jack Smith is attempting to line up his case against shithead to time just right with the election to have his treason fresh on everyone's mind when they vote.

If billboards could vote or winners were determined by how many billboards candidates put up I'd feel a lot more confident that Harris is gonna win.
Trump's gonna have his minions in various state offices that count and sign off on elections do everything they can to delay results and sow further doubt into an election where the overwhelming majority of Republicans already believe fraud took place in 2020. He'll declare himself the winner no matter any reported results and knowing that he didn't go far enough last time will do whatever it takes to steal this wanting to keep his ass out of court rooms and out of jail. Then again, he might actually turn out to be the legit winner.

Trump also secretly sent Putin COVID tests — when they were rare and hard to get — while in office. Putin said to Trump at the time: "I don't want you to tell anybody because people will get mad at you, not me." Trump has his entire base excited and ready to vote. The dems don't have that at all. They are so beholden to their donor overlords that they never fight for actual progressive policies. Everyone sees the hypocrisy at this point. There is plenty of hypocrisy on both sides, it's just that right wingers don't care about it, or any amount of brazen lies. It's all about gaining power. There are no more undecided voters that can be swayed just before an election, and there is no point in highlighting the 10,000th terrible thing Trump has done. We know he sucks and his supporters don't give af. Harris has to motivate the base. That's the path to victory. |

We keep saying this at each other so I'm sure it won't change your mind, but this has been the most progressive Presidential term in the history of our country, by miles and miles. When will it be progressive enough for you? When it gets so progressive that you lose the democrats who aren't progressive? Of course it's all about power, because if you don't have it, you can't do anything at all. What should motivate the base is being able to make your own healthcare decisions if you are a woman, knowing that the EPA and other Government agencies are tasked with keeping you safer and not with making corporations richer through deregulation, preventing the other guy from nominating 2 or three more Kavanaughs to the already comical Republican Supreme Court, preventing him from firing half the Government and installing a bunch of morons who are loyal only to him and on and on and on.
