Health care isn't off the table, it needs more attention. I think it could recieve more support. How might the current aca be improved upon or replaced and benefit the political entity that develops the policy in a way to is beneficial to those in need without poorly impacting folks that have stable health care already? So this isn't "selfish" thinking? Where does THAT line get drawn? Why is it only selfish if the youth vote wants it? Seems like a shitty party line to me.

What if the interest is drastically lowered on Student loans past and future? That would be a start. Too bad Harris said FUCK YOU. Guess she didn't REALLY need those votes.

Kaiser gave me foot powder for my armpit. It didn't work and I got a bill for $450. When I picked it up the pharmacy asked me how I was going to use it? Like I made that decision? Found a topical at CVS for a few dollars that my pharmacist buddy recommended and it seems to be working. Consider hydrocortisone. I had some rashes develop due to athletic activity and assumed jock itch and nothing worked, some stuff made it worse! Eventually I found hydrocortisone worked and it was a stress and athletic reaction combo creating a histamine response.

I’ve said it before but you do realize that Biden/Harris tried to do much more with student loans and the supreme struck it down.
Guess who appointed those judges?
Guess who will appoint more if trump wins?

I don't see how your response moves the discussion forward. I'm not sure where the selfish stuff comes into play or something. Sincerely, I'm not sure what you tried to convey here.

^ RBG could've stopped that. Oh well, she needed to make a little more money before she went, I guess.
I DO realize they did a little bit and stopped trying.
DO YOU REALIZE that this tone isn't winning voters?
What will Kamala do that will change any of this? She's said she's not going to do anything major already and wants to be "bi-partisan".
Fucked if we do and fucked if we don't. Seems pretty bad.

I don't see how saying it's a total no go on any progressive ideas moves the discussion forward either. That just shows me that my voice is never going to be considered and I just have to sit here while you all say Im selfish for advocating for help for MY generation of voters.

I don’t see where Harris said it was a no go and told anyone Fuck You though.
They’ve actively been working on student loans and I think they still are? The prez can’t just snap his fingers and change shit.

The prez can’t just snap his fingers and change shit. They aren't. The last news was more shit got struck down. Harris hasn't stated anything about loan forgiveness, which only suggests she's not approaching it as a serious issue. The democratic party has basically told me they're not interested in helping me. Love to feel represented!

No, You keep posting things that are celebrating the SAME thing. That $175 Billion isn't anything new. He's barely done anything about it. I guess only your needs are important. Fuck me and anybody like me!

This is from last week. October 17, 2024
The Biden-Harris Administration announced today the approval of approximately $4.5 billion in additional student loan relief for over 60,000 borrowers across the country who work in public service. This relief, which is the result of significant fixes that the Administration has made to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program, brings the total loan forgiveness approved by the Administration to over $175 billion for more than 4.8 million Americans, which includes $74 billion for over one million borrowers through PSLF.

This convo isn't civil or productive so let's switch gears.
How about immigration. What would you like to see change? It sucks that democrats played the "there's not a problem here" stance so long that the issue got way worse and another reason to think the party is full of shit is secured. That said, when they finally tried to implement something it failed, mostly due to the conservativ3 political stunt but I'm sure there was garbage in the bill to make it difficult to get real support from conservatives.
What is needed to improve issues at the border? Overhauling the immigration and migrant process obviously but I'm not sure what changes would result in improvement doe both Americans, immigrants and folks working the border. What are some specific changes proposed by conservatives that democrats have resisted that are now proving to be necessary? Does anyone have a case for the border not needing to be a priority?
