in one fell swoop this week the owners approved new touchback rules under the guise of player safety. so any fair catch or touchback is instantly brought out to the 25 yard line, same rule as college. on the flip side of the coin, owners also approved flex scheduling for thursday games, throwing even more teams into the unrested category as the season winds down. its all about player safety though...right? lol.
