yeah people got super triggered....as usual.
It's whatever. I haven't seen Phish in 7 years and i'm super excited to see them this weekend!! I may not even see UM this year which would be the first time since 2005 I haven't seen them in the year. But, at this point, I'm way more excited to see a Phish show than UM, it's just been waaaaaay too long!

It’s crazy to me that UM hit 2,000 in 2014. Terrible inefficiency. I trolled the fuck out of a Phish FB group with that stat this weekend. fwiw it kinda makes sense. Phish doesn't need to tour year round to make their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and haven't for a long time. While Umphreys, has always needed to keep more of a touring lifestyle in order to have made a career doing what they're doing. While i'm sure they have strived to reach the greatness that Phish achieved they've never broke that Mid-level status so they needed to tour a lot more to live comfortably. Fixed that a bit for ya. |

well I was going to go solo to the UC show on Friday, now Wife wants to go so we are trying to figure out babysitting situation for Saturday. Most looking forward to sparking a doobie in the house that MJ built

Last night was pretty good, I thought. Despite other heavy hitters in the 1st set, Cool Amber and Mercury was the highlight from the set. It got deep. Mike's kicked ass. No Man's Mu-Tron was cool. That Pillow Jets was wild. Groove was grooving. Twist might have been my 2nd set highlight. Trey went gnarly like I've never heard him Twist. Maybe that's just how they play it now. I haven't kept up on shows this year. When they started Buffalo Bill we headed for the car. I assumed First Tube was next and my buddy drove and I was thankful for that and didn't mind. Can't wait to see what's in store for tonight. Oh, this was the first time I've gotten to see the light rig in its full glory. Fucking crazy. Sometimes it's honestly too much, but when it's awesome, it's really awesome. Last night was also easily the loudest Phish show that I've ever attended.

I want to party with Gerg's wife Possible meats can go down. We are kind of waiting to hear back from 2 people. The hope is my Grandma would watch the girls until 8 and then we have this Russian lady who has babysat them a dozen times before will put them to sleep and stay until the show is over. So as long as my Grandma can come on the earlier side we are down to get to that area for foods. Gonna have to make it my cheat day. |
