A Ruby Waves to rival Alpine Valley 2019. Bangarang Holy moly. Last night was 114 for me and I've never experienced anything like that. I don't have words to express how insanely incredible that peak was. I don't think that experience will translate on the audio. Just wow. |

So... on the drive over I told my buddy how I thought they should have played a soft one after Pillow Jets first night. Something like Lifeboy. That shit last night was perfect. I might have teared up a little. This is why we keep going to shows.

To be fair, I thought most of the first set was kind of a snoozer. I literally thought to myself, I hope they turn this momentum around. WotC was a step in the right direction. Then that second set happened. I want to say there is an element of darkness to some of the jams, perhaps in a nod to Halloween being just around the corner. I don't know. Good shit.

i'm hoping they open one of the sets with the alan parsons project song "sirius"(bulls opening theme from the 90s). place would go bonkers. I saw cheese do this in Chicago a while back and it was awesome Chicago Theatre but close enough, place went bonkers. |

Man I'm bummed to be missing Phish in the old home place...
This isn't a good weekend for it. Wife's friend's birthday party Friday, cider fest Saturday. Gonna do Michigan fall stuff.
I couldn't justify leaving my pregnant wife for the weekend to phish out, I know it's the right decision.
As long as Fishman doesn't die suddenly in a freak accident, I imagine this band will be playing for a while still.
