can someone explain to me how the USA men suck at 3x3 basketball? they didn't even make it out of group play... here's an idea, get some NBA guys that didn't make the national team, and have them dominate. or if they don't allow pros in the 3x3 format, get some g-leaguers and have them dominate. it shouldn't be too hard to figure out when the US is the overwhelming gold favorite for mens hoops every single olympics. There is a points system that teams have to meet to even qualify which eliminates virtually anybody good enough to play in any pro league. I heard that on the only few minutes I could stand watching that. It shouldn’t be an Olympic sport. I mean I figured it was some stipulation that caused us to have Jimmer Fredette as the best player for that team 😳 |

Finally finished watching US Women’s soccer team play Japan.
Trinity Rodman with a wicked left across the goal and into the far side during extra time.
Japan played 5 back and clogged things up pretty good which could be a blueprint for other teams playing them.
Germany tomorrow at 10:00 MST

I love Simone Biles and she’s the GOAT and her Difficulty level is unbelievable but she had some sloppy Execution stepping out of bounds on floor by a lot and she still gets silver but that Romanian girl did better and then Chiles coach contests her performance and she gets Bronze when the Romanian girl had her flag and ready for the podium I just couldn’t believe how that went down.

USA women won the gold in team pursuit which is probably my favorite event to watch in track cycling. Pretty cool that Faulkner wasn't supposed to be there and is going home with two golds.

US mens hoops team almost lost to serbia yesterday. they were down the whole game until about midway in the 4th quarter. gold medal game against Wemby and the frenchies tomorrow.
