I live in a coastal city so we have a cruise ship terminal. Most famous know for the ferry to Juneau, AK. That ferry takes like 4 days and costs a lot so I've never done it.
But we have other small cruises that use the port. We did a 2 hour sunset cruise last week that followed the shoreline with a dude from the history museum tak8ng about local history. It was a nice ride but the speakers really sucked we couldn't hear much.

Just went to the beach with wife and dog.
The salt water usually isn't very nice for swimming either dirty or cold.
But I felt like trying so I waded in for a little swim. Not bad, not too cold and calm seas. Just salty and seaweed. Watch out for barnacle rocks.
Can't complain about swimming in saltwater 2-3 times a year.
