Interesting to see how this will shake out. I say fuck the SEC and leave Bama out. But they are truly a better team now than when they lost to Texas they didn’t even know who to start at QB that game. And they would wipe the floor with FSU without Travis in the lineup. But I would be all about the melts online if they leave out the SEC.

I can’t imagine how anyone woulda thought the SEC was being left out. There were years the committee felt TWO teams should be in, let alone one or none. The Jordan Travis injury is just a convenient excuse that made that decision easier. Now we go to 12 teams. That means the ACC will get one. The Big 12 will get two, and the other nine will be decided between the SEC and Big 10.

The simple fact is ESPN is an SEC propaganda channel and has been for years. I can’t blame people for believing year in and year out the SEC is top to bottom some sort of conference with teams comprised of non human football Gods that run faster, hit harder and shit bigger than everyone else. It has been drilled into people for years. It’s been Alabama consistently, Georgia of late, and every couple few years a team like LSU show signs of life. That doesn’t equate to the ENTIRE conference being something unbelievably better than everyone else.

They got it right. SEC is always the strongest. Maybe 1 in 5 years someone else comes along.
For me its Big ten versus Bama. Big ten needs to learn to beat that conference.
