I'm listening to the TAB set from the Catbird Festival on 8/20. Trey pauses between songs and tells the crowd they are a member short, that James is dealing with health issues but doing well. Thaks everyone for sending healing vibes and mentions that James is fairly recently married.  Sad. |

Had a bad vibe when I saw the Ooh Child vid posted by trey...
then obvs when the pouring out from all for the donations...

So, I didnt know who this kid (yes, we are all kids) was ahead of this. My friend who is a huge Phish, TAB fan just recently had an issue and last week she set up an appointment for a colonoscopy in a couple weeks. She is 42 and her father and other fam have caught and succumbed to colon cancer. She was already nervous and stressed before Casey's passing and I know its probably very heavy on her mind (I havnt brought it up and neither has she). First thing I thought of when it was announced yesterday. Its going to be a tough couple weeks leading to her exam and results.
