so our new kitten was missing for eight hours, turned out he made a hole in the couch and crawled up into it for hours. i biked around the neighborhood for six hours looking for him. that wouldve sucked.

Cats are hilarious. My girl cat used to find all kinds of weird spots to hide in and sleep. Many, many times I was sure she had bolted, which she also had a habit of doing. She is around 15yo now, so she mostly sleeps on the back of the couch these days.

I have new material and I'm going to make a new dress. This weekend Tomorrow I'm going to get out of my house and go do some community service. I'll clean up a homeless camp down the road. This should probably be on mental health. I'm trying to stay off the alcohol. I noticed it's been making me really sad lately. And nobody likes a sad drunk. I hope you guys are staying safe out there, especially with all the crazy weather. I love you all. Be safe and stay warm.

Fluoride has been in the news a few times lately around here. Buffalo stopped fluoridating their water and didn't tell anyone, another town is going to fluoridate their water for the first time in a few years, etc.

Well, this weekend was supposed to be a kind of honeymoon for me and my wife. We got married in August and she's pregnant now so rather than use the $$ we got for our wedding on an actual honeymoon we used it to help pay for our house. We closed today! Move in sometime in the next 30 days. Since we didn't have anything on the books, I got her and I an air bnb in Kalamazoo this weekend so we could see our favorite band, Steppin' in it, at Bells. I also invited her friends and got her a spa day on Saturday. Fast forward to today, looks like a major winter storm is forecast to bring 6-12 inches of snow to both Lansing and Kalamazoo. The worst of it hits during rush hour tomorrow, when we would be on I-94 headed west. Rather than getting ourselves killed on the highway in lake effect snow, we are staying home. I was able to get the concert tickets refunded (couldn;t believe how easy that was! Thanks etix). And the spa day can be rescheduled. Air BNB has fucked policies about cancellations and they are trying to screw me out of a lot of cash but still working on that end. Anyways we had big plans and it was gonna be a great weekend, but it's all canceled now. Sucks. that’s wonderful and great news! Not all of it, but most of it. Great work Autophil |
