You going to be in the core zone or not!?
My wife and I went in 2017 it was awesome I recommend you try it.
We are trying to go and I wanted to see Texas. I finally got around to really looking at travel and the flights and hotels are a lot! $$.
Most hotels in the Core are already sold out.
They are doing the big music fest in TX but we aren't doing that.
Now realistically my choices are Dallas, St. Louis, and Buffalo
Those cities are not great no offense. (In April)
What do you think I should do?

I was in The Path Of Totality in 2017 but it was cloudy and the one a couple weeks ago was legit from our driveway but I heard the next one is gonna be spectacular.

So buffalo is pretty gloomy in April? I can imagine with the lake nearby.
I'm leaning into Dallas. I wouldn't need a car and probably clear warm weather.
I've never heard anything cool about Dallas. Just a big ass metro area.

Denton, a bit north of Dallas, is one of those rare cool locales in TX. College town, artsy, etc.
