I bought a big block of Reggiano last night because it was on sale. I always keep that and good Pecorino on hand.
I love chicken parm. I love meatball parm. I love eggplant parm. I love parm!
The new fad is making them with vodka sauce. It’s good too, but I prefer the OG.
No, it’s not really Italian food. But it’s fried and it has cheese on it.
How can a fat kid like gerg even question its FKT worthiness?

Never questioned it's FKT worthiness. It has the FKT stamp of approval no doubt.
But my FKT card is being revoked anyways. As I am typing this I am eating my breakfast which consists of a banana and a protein shake. You can have your fried food.

I think of chicken parm as being the safer option at a Little League awards dinner or college dining hall when the beef option sounds kind of risky and the fish option is a hard no.

My thoughts on chicken parm: If you're getting that as your main dish at a restaurant you A. Don't know shit about good Italian food B. Don't know shit about good Italian food and are probably eating at an "Italian" establishment like Olive Garden C. Don't know shit With that being said, if someone else is ordering a chicken parm and it's one of those shared plate places, then you better believe i'll fuck with some chicken parm. I also feel that a restaurant will either have a real good chicken parm or a real bad chicken parm, there is no in between. Not a fan of chicken parm sandwiches at all. Hard pass on any sandwich that has some sort of tomato/marinara sauce in it. Yeah I went to an authentic italian place in Boston's North End and the chicken parm was life-changing |

I assume I know what it tastes like but I dont go to Italian joint too often as they are not as common on the west side. I would also Gerg if I went and probably get seafood or something I can't make myself.
