Ordered a chicken parm pizza once from a reputable pizza parlor. Thought it sounded good; sauce, cheese, chicken - what could go wrong?
Nasty. Could only eat around half a slice. Gave the rest away.
Ate plenty of chicken parm heroes when I was a kid but I think now it'd have to be chef'd up somehow for me to go there.

Honestly I'm a little iffy on chicken and cheese. Except if it's spicy then it's a go.

Chicken Parm is good imo but I went to this Italian restaurant two weeks ago and had a meatball Parm sandwich that was AMAZING.
Didn't hurt that the meatball was at least a pound and a half.
I could only eat half.

I'm too lazy to make it, but there should be a "ever rock a pram?" thread. I really wanted a pram when Ben was a baby, but the thing was really expensive and not very versatile.
In conclusion: parm yes, perm no, pram I wish!

I love cracking parm. Nothing like breaking down a 70# wheel! I miss working with cheese.

My thoughts on chicken parm: If you're getting that as your main dish at a restaurant you A. Don't know shit about good Italian food B. Don't know shit about good Italian food and are probably eating at an "Italian" establishment like Olive Garden C. Don't know shit
With that being said, if someone else is ordering a chicken parm and it's one of those shared plate places, then you better believe i'll fuck with some chicken parm.
I also feel that a restaurant will either have a real good chicken parm or a real bad chicken parm, there is no in between.
Not a fan of chicken parm sandwiches at all. Hard pass on any sandwich that has some sort of tomato/marinara sauce in it.

You're wrong on B. There are some absolutely banging Italian restaurants that have cp on the menu.

I agree, i'm just saying you could fit that category if you order it. I don't think Chicken parm is a hard dish to butcher and if you're a reputable Italian chef, you should have no problem making it. But as someone who has been to Italy and whose favorite food, overall, is Italian food, there are at least 100 dishes you could get at any given Italian restaurant that is better than a chicken parm imo.

Think of it like loving UM. There are many better choices, but sometimes you just like what you like.
