I wish they'd just go back to regular applications. You know a piece of paper. Why do I have to do everything online? I had any internet sense. I probably wouldn't be applying for a low paying job. This is up there with restaurants that make you scan a Q-code to see their menu or won't accept cash. I'm fine with offering those options, but why you gotta take away other perfectly good options that have worked for centuries? |

We have yet to listen to new album, he did however.turn me in to the tune revolution radio and said that album is pretty good

It took me a minute but I finally got a figured out. Application is in hopefully. I'll be working for the state of Washington again Where At Cape disappointment? It's a pretty funny job. I get to ride around in a golf cart. Pick up trash, clean up camps. and the pay is great. I'm excited |

Plus you'd be working in one of the only places in the world where you can pick Azurescens. I'm guessing at times you could just zip up and down Jetty Rd. making some stops here and there to hunt and the park rangers or cops wouldn't bother you. First couple of years I went it was mellow, but after that it was best to be done by 9 in the morning and out before the state cops showed up to bust the obvious dumbasses.

Well, that is true, you know when I lived in Missouri. I used to laugh about those commercials that said living in a high fungal area. I live in a high fungal area. The fungus is among us and we have the shrooms of all sorts actually. Is smile wink wink

I just saw on the news home values in hot ass Phoenix have gone up 70%(!) since 2019.

I remember when I bought this place in 2013 I thought I overpaid for it but boy was I wrong. I’ve gotten offers for over 400k for this place and thought about Movin On Up but all these houses are way too expensive now. I do feel bad for the renters getting squozed out and there are homeless people with suitcases wandering through crosswalks. It’s weird too cuz they seem to be in a hurry and start the crosswalk when there’s not enough time to get to the other side. Just wait another minute to cross please. Phoenix is deadly for pedestrian foot traffic. |

Fungus you've never seen before, bigger than anything you've seen before, and more colorful than anything you've seen before. |

Fungus you've never seen before, bigger than anything you've seen before, and more colorful than anything you've seen before. Mushroom hunting in a pretty dress makes people wonder. But yes we do have the best mushrooms here my favorite Is hin of the woods. The king bullets are pretty good too. There's also the white truffles. And there's really funny ones on the beach. They glow at night. |

Knowing all the other mushrooms worth hunting gave a nice cover story if you and a park ranger bumped into each other. One once told me that the azurescens that all the hippies were hunting were poisonous and could kill you. I politely corrected her (while making it sound like I didn't want anything that would make me feel 'funny') and said I was looking for matsutakes or something. If you came off smarter than they are (about fungus) they left you alone.
It was interesting how the azurescens might be a bit hard to find at first. I'd eat the first one I found (or only part) and a short time later you'd be able to see them much easier. It was like flipping a radar switch and they suddenly wanted you to find them.

Just remember the flick and pick system. You pick one, you flick one and you remember the area. So you can always come back and get More you flick it so it produces spores and always cut it. Don't pull it, you pull it. You kill it and the spores die, you cut it, then it produces more.

Woke up at 5:00, drove 2 hours, skied all day, 2 hours home, home at 5:30.
I need a hot tub.
Using the 2 day rule, I may be crippled on Tuesday.
Randomly ate lunch next to my neighbor from 3 doors down.

The wife and I are seeing the Black Pumas on Saturday. We are both mildly obsessed with the band so we are both very much looking forward to raging. It's also restaurant week so we are gonna go find a nice restaurant to eat at tonight
