From my Aunt today who lives in NF:
"One of the hotels downtown is getting $1200 a night. It's all anyone can talk about. Signs every where warning about traffic jams. They are expecting a million people in nf. I don't know where they are all going to fit. We have glasses and will be sitting in the front yard with a cocktail or two."
Schools, businesses closed. State of "Emergency." Sounds like fun!
(But watch out for ghosts of Native Americans riding White Buffaloes raping, burning and pillaging while dragging souls back to Hell!)

Lots of people upset because they booked rooms months ago and the hotels are cancelling their reservations and charging 3-4 times the standard rate |

It was a ghost town here today. The locals are hunkered down. That had been my plan. I called an audible and went mushroom hunting this afternoon. Where are all these people? Then, when I got back to town, I drove across town to lowes. The only place that was busy was Texas Roadhouse.
