Where to begin…..
So there is someone I have known for 30 years. We hooked up off and on for a long time. We have not in a while, and it’s a long complicated story. We have a lot in common and are completely wrong for each other. I don’t want a relationship with her, or anyone for that matter. But she left me a present on my front door just after Christmas. No knock. No text. Just a small note that said “H” not her full name. She did the same thing last year for my birthday, with no note whatsoever, btw. Very strange. We were planning on hanging out this Saturday for the first time in almost a year.
While taking out the garbage I found a rose on my porch with a note that said “I’ve always loved you.”
I texted her to thank her and tell her that she’s weird. She swears it wasn’t her. I don’t believe her. But what it it wasn’t her. Who the fuck could it be? No one.
