Have any of you all seen Charlie Parr? He's playing close (+/- 45 min) to me at a small venue not too far away (Jamin Java) next Tuesday.
I know some of his stuff and know he doesn't leave the Midwest too often. But it's a Tuesday (not a Wednesday) with work day of and day after. Think tickets are around 20.
What say you all? Go or pass?

go. you'll dig it. he used to be mainstay at blue ox, now in recent years he hasn't been at a couple.

Familiar name. I used to see this guy playing solo in MN almost 20 years ago.
Not too sure what he's up to these days but I'm sure it would be fun.
If it was 30 minutes away on a Tuesday I'm not sure I'm making that. But maybe

He rules. Also cooks his lunch on the way to the show if the exhaust manifold is flat enough on the rental.

Have listened to a lot from him for a long time. Was stoked to finally catch him at blue ox 2020 and...
I remember I used to like his stuff with the black twig pickers (northern nc) best. Hopefully he swings through Peoria or bloomington ometime soon now that im.back north.
