U2 was a pretty solid band in my book until right around the release of Rattle and Hum. Boy, War, Unforgettable Fire, Under a Blood Red Sky and Joshua Tree are all really good albums to my ear. That of course leaves almost 30 years of stuff I don't care for at all and don't really know, but I do know what I'm getting with the Eagles (and I don't want it). I concur 100%. I also liked All That You Can't Leave Behind. I am not a hater, but I get why some are.

I was never a huge U2 fan. I enjoy some of the early stuff. I feel that at some point the ego overshadowed the talent and it became way to obvious in everything they did.
And the eagles still suck.

I have always liked the solo stuff from The Eagles guys more than the actual Eagles. Give me The James Gang over any Eagles. And if Joe Walsh is mentioned, this must be mentioned.
And I feel the same as most of what has been said about U2, but I will add this is still the greatest Super Bowl performance of all time and a powerful moment. ‘Murica!

At one point t I was convinced that Sirius Radio had a deal with the Eagles, that there must be an Eagles song playing at all times on one of their channels.
I’ve noticed that less lately but now I’m sure that will change.
I hurt my right thumb so typing left thumbed… Eagles kept becoming Wagles.
