I live squarely in the center of grand rapid’s crackton and bumtown districts.
The 400 capacity shelter is directly across the street from my window.
The park where they shamble over to for relentless crack activity is directly to the left of the building.
I’ve been here for 10 years.
All that new development across the way happened after I moved in here. Used to be a big slab on concrete for parking.
I’m sorta grandfathered in.
My rent is 830 a month.
