I'm listening to Trip or Treat which is a new Halloween related compilation. Not bad, too much D & S. I'm over compilations for a while. I'm usually the same, but last night I listened to the exclusively D & S 'Infrared Roses' for the first time in years (figured my wife would be more agreeable to that then a 68 or 69 show). I've been listening to jam only compilations a lot lately because sometimes I get to the point where I really don't need to hear some of the songs I've already heard a million times and just want to get straight to the jammy meat; esp. when listening while stoned. In my early days, we would put on infrared roses after dosing and it would be come up music. I enjoyed that.

I'm listening to Egypt 78, I can totally see why this sat for a while but it's not a bad show at all. The packaging was fucked up and some weird residue got on some of them though. That's what they get for trying to get too cute with the design.

The verse about street cats is, uhhh, not particularly well written...

I love the sound of Bobby and the sound of street cats making love

I also really like Bobby.
During the Egypt one he plays a weird chord after the "sounds like they're fighting" line.

I think that's to simulate the awful sounds cats make when they're doing it

Friend of mine had a t-shirt with a picture of Bobby and "Whoahoaaaa" written on the front and "Drowning in you" on the back.

I think LLR is alright outside of that verse, but it's definitely not a favorite.

Listening to Disc 3 of Dave's Picks 31. Strong first set and pretty decent second set but nothing extraordinary.

Listening Saint of Circumstance- Giants Stadium 91
This Eyes is pretty. The dual keys are nice.

Ha, llr is a fave of mine and I think the street cats line is maybe my favorite part. Actually , I really like the 1st lines.
" ..covers were still warm where you had laid....

The Brown Eyed Women is pretty good with some vocal flubs but the playing is tight.
