We are going to my parents house which is tradition. I think there will be around 20+ people, 10 of them being children, so it should get pretty crazy. My dad smokes 1 turkey and does another in the oven. We are also making a cornbread stuffing to bring. Looking forward to it. Always excited for Thanksgiving football too, even though my team is gonna get crushed.

And listening to Alice's Restaurant and The Last Waltz is a must.
Wouldn't mind ending the night with Planes, Trains and Automobiles

It's just me heading to my parents. I'm picking up some good shrimp in an hour or so and will cook it at their place. We'll have a couple of sides and a pie. I'm doing all of my smoking when I get back home.

I post this every year, but it seems more relevant now than ever.

I love the idea of non-traditional holiday meals, same as I love pancakes for dinner sometimes. When I was a kid we did lasagna on X-Mas Eve.

I love me some John Belushi but he was before my time, Animal House and some of his SNL sketches are absolute all timers though! Obviously Blues Brothers is another classic! I think I was 7 when John Candy died but I grew up watching his movies. Between him and Chris Farley they were 2 of my favorite childhood actors.
