Hoxeyville is this weekend, but I can't find a hotel with a reasonable price in the whole damn region.
Think I might day pass it saturday (Leftover Salmon) and sunday (BMFS)

He's playing Hot August this weekend but I'm not into paying $90 for something that has PPPP headlining. I dunno. I might change my mind.

Are there a lot of decent acts? PPPP as the headliner and that price would definitely lead me to skip it.

He's been touring around the Great Lakes region for a minute now, and his audience draw keeps growing because he has some raw talent. Now he just got recruited to team up with these folks. Good for the young bunk. I look forward to seeing where his career takes him. He has a great bluegrass voice and guitar chops.  I seen him first! |

I like hot August festival but not this year. Besides Billy strings the other act I'd most want to see is Cedric burnside and they play at the same time, 100% overlap.

ha, jgb, billy, p4 and turkuaz sounds fun to me! But i wouldnt pay 100 for it i guess.
got turkuaz on a friday in october and then jgb with john K a week or 2 after. pretty stoked for that!
