So...ohtel just got upgraded at 1230 to a king suite due to blood on sheets BLEHCK ohtel also just became free (they won't know until the morning) This place used to be one of our FAVORITES no mas..late night desk girl was a consumate professional sans dropping her lighter lol...yo wanna Blaze? This just became a smoke room hahaha (jk) Sooo Besides that Amazing night so far     |

So Rich’s aunt is OBSESSED with Billy Strings and messaged me yesterday that since we’ll be back in Chicago by May we need to come to the shows with her. She’s been trying to get us to go to St Augustine and Bama shows but we never have a sitter. His two uncles and other aunt are going, along with some other randoms and they’re getting a party bus to take us. His uncle paid for the tix and we just need to buy beers.
DONE.

honestly was considering the chicago shows for this current tour. the minneapolis stop sold out pretty much instantly but still plenty of tix for both nights in chicago.
big dick bill for 2 nights > stock up on edibles > profit...hmmmm?

LCD Soundsystem just announced 4 nights the same weekend as BS in Chicago. would probably do that over Billy if I had to choose one, but that's a busy weekend for the Chicago music scene

There's enough demand where they can draw a different crowd each night. I believe that's memorial day weekend so plenty of people will be out all weekend.
I assume there would be little to no variation in setlists though

If you're gonna plug your instruments in, might as well use the full force of music technology. Bring in the synthesizers. but the Aragon ballroom fucking sucks. That place is a death trap. |
