I made roasted butternut squash soup yesterday. It was pretty delicious. Garnished with some crispy bacon and goat cheese crumbles.

I'm making spaghetti today; the sauce is simmering right meow. Salads & garlic bread too. I'm finally going to crack open this beer that I bought last week, it's a Hoppin' Frog Silk Porter.

We had spaghetti for dinner last night with homemade sauce that Legs made with tomatoes from our garden. We also had fresh steamed brussels sprouts.

We didn't grow the sprouts though...they are from Trader Joe's.

For Thanksgiving I cooked:
22.5# turkey stuffing green bean casserole cranberry sauce with curry and apples smashed potatoes with garlic, carmelized onions, colby jack cheese (would have been cheddar but MIL gets migraines from cheddar) and bacon gravy jello salad fresh bread asparagus seasoned with montreal steak seasoning
Somehow, I managed to have all of this ready at approximately the same time too.

The migraine cheddar part is pretty funny. My boyfriend's uncle tells people he's allergic to black pepper. "It really tickles his throat"
