This happened at the annual Eid-al Adha where they commemorate the incident where their God commanded Abraham to murderer his favorite son. Satan jumps in and tries to talk Abraham out of it but gets run off by a stone throwing and Abraham procedes. But when he goes to cut his favorite son's throat, the boy vanishes from under the blade and a dead ram is there in his place.
Somehow Satan is the bad guy in that story so one of the traditions of Eid-al adha is to pretend to stone Satan and also sacrafice a goat and give it to the poor. O and going to Saudi Arabia to worship a meteor and trample fellow pilgrims
