apparently people complaining about the movie being 'anti-white' lol trailer looks badass! I heard something about that, stupid and ridiculous. Ridley Scott "whitewashed" The Martian. Why can't people just cast who they want to cast And the new trailer is amazing and I got a chill right at the end. Super stoked for this! |

apparently people complaining about the movie being 'anti-white' Started as a thread on 4chan, a joke about trolling people by starting the boycot the movie hashtag because of the black guy. Like three 4chan guys, THREE, tweeted about it, and it got jumped on by tons of media and reported on as if it was an actual movement. That made it an actual thing, media turned a joke into a real thing, and now it is everywhere. Seriously three dudes started all of this because the media is trying to break stories now from "that hacker 4chan". |

Sorry. I didn't think posting a link to a story about a speculation based on something Mark Hamill said ten years ago about a movie that didn't exist at the time and that no one currently knows any details about was posting a spoiler. To truly avoid any possibility of reading spoilers, or even speculation, and ensure a purely virginal 'Star Wars' experience, it's probably best not to click on anything on the internet with the words "Star Wars," including forum threads.
On our way out of the theater when I went to see 'Empire' the day it came out, this friend of ours, who was something of an asshole at times, shouted out so that everyone standing on line for the next showing could hear - "Darth Vader is Luke's father." That's a spoiler. Even though this stuff is all over the internet and you don't even have to click on the link when just seeing the headline on a websites front page is enough to tell you what the gist of the internet story is going to be, I'm going to delete or edit out that post I made. Maybe you want to edit the quoted link out of your post as well?

im just trying to cut myself off from the star wars world until i see it. i just dont wanna know what happens at all
this is why i wanna see it opening weekend, so i see it without hearing anything about it first
i did hear that they havent shown luke yet in the trailer. maybe hes the bad guy now

It's clearly him with the robotic hand touching R2D2 in trailer 2. 30 years later, the synthetic skin has worn off. |
