Watching TV on acid is a waste of acid. not really. not all trips have to be all introspective and shit to me when you do shit like that, its not a trip, its just being high on acid. sometimes its fun to trip and just do whatever people who judge others for what they do on L is kinda ridiculous. you can do anything you want on acid |

I never said all trips have to introspective (and shit), I only said I prefer trips that are interactive where I participate, not ones were I'm just spoon fed a mediated experience where I do nothing but sit back and watch. You can have an interactive trip that has nothing at all to do with it being introspective. You do know those words mean different things? Go to Disneyworld, go SCUBA diving, go for a hike or a bike ride, go to a show, go dancing, go to the Vegas strip, go to a strip club; but watching a mediated experience on a flat, two dimensional screen seems a waste of good acid. Sure, you can do anything you want on acid. So why would you want to do nothing more interesting than just watch TV when there's so much else you could be doing to actually rage doses?
Is watching TV what passes for raging doses with the kids nowadays? Whoever's in charge of Internet handles should make you change yours to something more appropriate, like wastingdoses.

In rages defense, again when I was a teenager.. I scored acid for the first time. It was a big thing then as I come from a small up north town where you just don't find acid everyday. It was called purple haze and it was good shit. I dosed and decided to drive out to the local stoner/losers house I tended to visit from time to time. Sid was kicking in on the drive there. Very scary. Got there and the people at this house ( also on the same acid ) had the movie Pink Floyd "The Wall" playing. I got there for the beginning and it was fucking nuts. That film was made to watch on acid I swear. Cray Cray.
I remember spending the rest of that evening watching television for the most part.

TV might be a good and legit way to get your feet wet when your 14, but I'm thinking rage isn't a teenager anymore, nor is it his first time taking acid, or his handle wouldn't be 'ragedoses.' I'm thinking it's more a case of lack of creativity or any type of curiosity. What a waste of L. I guess it just doesn't open that door for everyone.

I'd actually watch Looney Tunes on L. Not as the main thing to do, but if it was the end of my trip and I was coming down but still in that psychedelic mind frame and just wanted to chill. Those other shows I listed I wouldn't watch at all - maybe a little Masterpiece Theatre if they were rebroadcasting 'I Claudius,' but not on L. Back in college my roommates and I used to set an alarm for Saturday mornings, rip the old US 2 bong (Bertha), and watch Pee Wee's Playhouse.

It's too bad that after all the L you've done you don't seem to be any more enlightened for the experience. I'm not making up rules, just stating an opinion that doing L and watching TV is a passive waste of good L and shows a lack of creativity or curiosity. Watched 'Empire' on cable last night. Thankfully they didn't screw up Vader's voice in the dubbing to Español. Seeing the old school effects compared to the CGI-fest of the more recent trilogy has me feeling hopeful about the improved old school effects of the new film.
