We've got someone who likes burnt toast and another that likes burnt popcorn. Not the most offensive smells in the world, but not great. Used to have someone that burnt popcorn everyday. How the fuck haven't you learned from the previous days that you are doing it too long? The rest of us in the office want you to choke on the buttered charcoal you scorched....... Again. |

Today is the first day that I can say that I feel okay again. My dog passed away a couple weeks ago and I had been feeling awfully depressed. But, today I finally feel like things are going to be okay again.

But, today I finally feel like things are going to be okay again. Sorry CP, I'm pretty dependant on my dog right now and know how much of a hole that can abruptly leave in your life. Remember them for always but add a new friend as soon as possible is my best advice! Even if it seems too soon, I think it is the best approach, it's not a replacement but an honoring of the friend you lost, a continuation of the love you had and a new beginning with a new companion that will become just as close very quickly. It's been almost 3 years since we lost meadow and even this weekend we were driving down the street and saw a beautiful white Shepherd with a pink nose taking notice of the flowers and the little things as we passed. About 30 mins later we pull into best buy while a nice synthesizer instrumental full of minor chords is taking off on my stereo and my wife is balling, talking about how much the dog reminded her of meadow and how much she misses her. Even after all this time she still struggles with it. I hope you and the family can make the memories last and replace the pain with new love soon. |

I don't use it often but the Admin manager at my work is such a cunt. My Brofriend told me that the guy he works with was going to go to her and complain about the backorders. I tried to explain to him as best I could about the reason why I did not order this stuff at the end of March. I went right to my boss to nip that shit. He was like- don't even worry about it. She has no clue. I want to know who's dick she's sucking to even still be working here.
She was just walking out and said, Oh, are those my boxes from Tony? I said no, those are my boxes from me.

Thanks everyone. We will be getting a new dog soon- after we fix our deck and the flower bed in the backyard. I really wasn't ready for this, Winchester was only about 9. He had a serious heart murmur caused by a birth defect that caused a leaky valve (common to Rottweilers); so the good thing is that he died peacefully in his sleep. I think it was much easier than the pain I had with my last dog who had to be put down at 17. One day he was playing fetch and having fun, the next day he was gone. Between vetting him and the cats, plus the cremation we have spent over $2500 at our vet in the last two months, one more reason to wait a while before getting another doggie!
