They have Thunder Beach here twice a year which is a huge motorcycle rally and usually the music is bullshit but this year they’ve gotten Rob Zombie, Buckcherry, and the remnants of Lynyrd Skynrd and Pantera.
I’ve already seen Rob Zombie and the real Pantera like 20 years ago so whatever on that but I’d totally go see Buckcherry. Lit up is a great song and the people watching is top tier.
Speaking of that, going to the bar on Sunday afternoon after thunder beach and just nursing a beer and watching people is incredible.

I saw Pantera twice back in the day, rage. Half the band which was the cool half are gone now, and I heard they were presently being canceled for racist rants from Phil

One of my homies from back in the day plays bass for Atilla and they're coming to Milan. I will have to try and make it out for that show. I think it involves a ferry ride and then drive from Genoa where it docks but the adventure will be worth it to see an old friend.

tickets procured. woo hoo! flight was $33 to get there which is cheaper than the ferry, and the wife needs the car anyways.

Ghost Iris is officially the sickest metal band I've ever seen. They're from Copenhagen

Atilla played their song Pizza and the whole crowd chanted along with "Pineapple on the whole pizza? What the fuck!" And then they threw like 6 pizzas on the audience. I have never had so much fun at a metalcore show. Everyone was crashing into eachother and rowdy as fuck but still smiling and feeling the comraderie.

Ozzy may pass away doing the frog jump off the drum riser. That has to be worth something

He has Parkinsons. It's not going to go well.

His wife says he is doing better with other health issues besides the Parkinson’s he has been dealing with for years. I am sure he can get through one show of teleprompter reading and letting the crowd likely sing a portion of the set.
I love Maiden, but this clip has always cracked me up, and now they will play the same night.
