Oh and I got stung by a yellowjacket on the way in and it still hurts. I fucking hate those things. ya yellow jackets really sting and ask questions later. |

Hoping I get my bike into the shop soon. I almost did it the other day but I have an old cable lock on there that is locked in with the brake cables so I can't just take it off (not sure where the key is). I assume they will take the cable out of the brake system while tuning it up, etc. but was going to try to find the key first. I'm stoked to diversify the active stuff I can do.
Yesterday I just didn't want to drive to a park but didn't want to be lazy. I won't run in my hood, so i ran laps in my backyard until I hit 3 miles, lol. A lap is like 0.9 miles. I hope a neighbor noticed...

If the bike has been sitting for a while, just cut the cables if you need to. New ones will make your brakes and shifters work a lot better. The good ones cost a few bucks more but it's worth it. Jagwire pro is what I always get.

Hope everyone is getting in some mileage. I've been so busy working I have only been getting in a few small rides and my weekly mountain bike ride. I did buy a leather selle anatomica saddle for the gravel bike. Feels so much better than the seat it came with.

Can't get a picture to upload but the 12 yo scored a free Schwinn sprint road bike today from a garage sale down the road. Don't know if it's the 74 or 88 but it's in pretty decent shape

Got out for a little ride this morning, 14 miles but with 1,100 ft of elevation gain.
Could really tell I haven’t been riding at all.
