I'm not missing the point. The meme makes a really dumb analogy.
it makes a simple point that just because your small sample does not contain a shark or an alien does not mean they dont exist.
once again, it addresses People use the fallacious logic that since they have been provided no direct evidence that aliens dont exist.
its NOT a proof of anything. it just points out failed logic
what makes aliens unlikely in your mind, you have to ignore thousands of data points and assume every single one is wrong.
why are aliens unlikely? Im curious
When did I say they were unlikely? Your logic is to put words in my mouth and assume I think something I've never said? Weird.

Again, who exactly are the people making this argument using "fallacious logic?" Stating there's a lack of proof is not the same as saying there's no possibility, so why do keep making this straw man argument? It's not possible to provide direct evidence that aliens don't exist. No one here has ever tried to do so. What they are saying, (as if it hasn't already been explained countless times before), is that the lack of evidence means that though it may be possible, it has no scientific or mathematical bearing on actual probability. With so many data points referenced you're saying the assumption is that every single one is wrong, but the other side of that coin is that with so many data points why haven't any of them been proven to be correct and lead to verifiable evidence? You're straw man argument is that people are saying those data points are all wrong when what's actually being said is that none of those data points has been proven to verify anything. The straw man argument exists to make the person making that argument to feel better about themselves and their beliefs by falsley creating an argument that doesn't exist with the idea that it's easier to argue against than the argument actually being made.

neither side can prove either way so this a case of more likely then not and why. at this point the data is most certainly leaning towards visitation All these sightings doesn't support more or not likely. It just proves we see things we haven't been able to explain yet. It could be anything, especially by your own logic.

so when ancient Egyptians, East Indian, Maya ect speak of flying ships and humanoids coming out of them, what else could that be? im curiuous

having thousands of sightings thru out time sure does support more likely then not logic. what unlikely is all of them are false positives.
and throw in the whistle blowers which makes it even more likely then not or you can simply assume that anyone or anything not supporting the position of no visitation is a lie.

Only more likely that we have witnessed objects or sighting that we couldn't identify. Facts.

but how many different things could a flying craft that had humanoids get out of be?
its a limited set of possibilities

There's a reason they're referred to as UFO's and not UFC's. A Craft, even if complely unidentifiable, is more identifiable than an Object. You're assuming these unidentified objects are crafts when they are really unidentifiable obljects that happen to be flying.

Pyramids all over the world and their usually difficult to get to locations Are proof enough for me that somethin else is out there We couldn't build those things now in their exact locations with all the technology we have available if our lives depended on it And these monuments were supposedly built by hand We dodnt devolve from being super man Or did we ¿? I've read suggestions that this can be considered a racist argument. Modern man suggesting that since they can't figure it out how it was done it's therefore completely impossible for these ancient civilizations from non-European cultures consisting of people with brown skin to have possibly known how to construct these structures. theconversation.com/racism-is-behind-outlandish-theories-about-africas-ancient-architecture-83898hyperallergic.com/470795/pseudoarchaeology-and-the-racism-behind-ancient-aliens/Fucking white people, amiright?

while interesting, its hard to say.
its not part of the data I use to make a determination of more likely then not.
