I have a love hate relationship with christmas, I love the time off but I hate having to spend some of that time off with extended family. Which is why I need a new dab pen asap.

I have never been less Christmas inspired than I am this year. But I'm getting it all done. Decorations, shopping, wrapping, cooking.... blah. I'm just not feeling it yet this year. Maybe we need some snow.
We're taking the kiddo to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical this coming Saturday. Hopefully that will make me feel more festive.

Used to love, love, love Christimas like you wouldn't believe... Like Buddy from Elf... Then Nana died on Christmas Eve in 08... Mom was so distraught she sold the house we all grew up in Sept of 09 so suddenly after moving away 20 plus years prior there was no "home" for Christmas. We couldn't blame her though and all dealt with it. Then in 2013 my fucking Dad kicks it unexpectedly on Dec 14, then last year on Dec 10 I discover that my wife is still fucking around on me despite begging for forgiveness a couple months earlier... so yeah... fuck Christmas... worst part is the realization my kids are going to have fucked up "split" Christmas's from here on out... so yeah.. fuck all of this shit. I'll probably be in a bar on Christmas Day.

Split Christmases were the worst. I mean twice the presents was cool, but fuck.
I might set up a little tree or something. Very undude of me. Going to be weird without her decorating.

Got a Santa on door , that'll prolly be it deco wise
Though I am,supposed have a mini space gathering in tower later this month may throw up some lights for that

yeah i've never been a big fan of the split Christmas thing, it really puts a drag on the day and it gotten even worse as the years have gone on. Now I spend the morning with my mom, then drive to my pops house, go with him to his wifes fam and then we leave there to go to my aunts, then home. So all day i'm fucking criss crossing long island and since i'm driving I can't even have a few beers to take the edge off. Plus this is the first christmas I have where all my grandparents are gone so that's kinda weird. I think next christmas i'm going to ask my mom to go to Germany with me and we can just chill out with my cousin in frankfurt and then head to berlin or something.

I have 100% more Christmas decorations up this year than any past year. I went from none to borderline obnoxious(not really, it just feels like it).

I got one of those laser projector things for our Christmas lights this year. Much easier than hanging the icicle lights that I've done in years past.
Our house is a wreck because we have a bunch of projects going on but we're hoping that we can have them all wrapped up by Saturday afternoon so we can clean up and go get a tree.
I love Christmas. Amazon and Best Buy love that I love Christmas too...The UPS guy on the other hand...he's probably tired of my love for Christmas.
