I am making that man drive up here next weekend. Going to Hampden to see the miracle on 34th St. Not a play but a neighborhood that goes all out. Baltimore style. Right after, we have tickets to my cousins annual holiday burlesque show. This year, "Tit's a Wonderful Life"
She actually used to do her holiday show with John Waters.

More about the solstice and NYE.. Reflect on the past year, feel grateful thankful and blessed for its passing, and look forward excited and optimistic for what is to come.. Relish in your achievements and set higher goals to come.. nYEMsg doesnt hurt either
But have fond memories of christmas.. I will rock Vince Guaraldi Trio on christmas day, but thats the only holiday music i can muster
Always enjoy a family or loved one gathering and any excuse to over indulge.. Food love and otherwise
And am hoping to make it back and be with my neices this time around.. Spoiling the kids is really what its all about
But i dont dig the formality of gifts this time of year.. if i care for you i dont need a reason to give you something, and i give often, i enjoy it

thats pretty much what im celebrating. the solstice from the spiritual angle and a few days later Christmas. christmas to me is the day of the day of the year i celebrate materialism. its warm and fuzzy for me. attempted to watch this dvd.netflix.com/Movie/The-League-of-Gentlemen-Series-2-Christmas-Special/70015874?trkid=201886046some English show.. very odd.. made it thru maybe half of it. then poked around on Hulu for a new christmas movie and liked the title a Fairly Odd christmas. almost turned it off after first 10 minutes then realized its a live movie based on the fairly odd parents cartoon on nick which i watched quite a bit of it with my son many many moons ago. now i had a reference point which added a level of entertainment to me.. prob will never watch again but it had a few moments |

got the Charlie Brown christmas on the way from NF disk at home.
my wife requested it this season.. been a while
i really like the Jim Carrey animated version of A Christmas Carol.. such detail makes it lots different than the others and we watch lots of the various versions. also checked out a miracle on 34th st, the remake, saving santa(enjoyable animated) and a bunch others this last Sunday
