I saw a rabbit inside the electric fence this morning. Hopefully it didn't munch on my cucumber vines or the summer squash. They are just now taking off.

We're getting lots of tomatoes even though at least one of the chucks figured out how to jump through the fence and is eating a bunch too.

I didn't put out as many pepper plants this year and I'm missing it. I'm going to build a straight up grow in the cellar so I can over winter pots and have lots of stuff potted and established for next summer. I'm also looking into growing nopal(prickly pear), so I can make hot sauce with them.

I planted 3 raised beds with 5 kinds of garlic plus elephant garlic. There are 40 rows total with 6 cloves per row. I hope this is successful, as it's my first time growing garlic. I still have 5 heads out of an initial 18, too. I need to prep another bed tomorrow.

I had to cut my garden down earlier this week. It's always sad having to do that at the end but I am covered with peppers and green tomatoes now

I've seen this method mentioned on reddit, but never tried it. My germination rate is pretty good, though.

So... I went a little crazy with the peppers this year. I always plant three of each variety. There are over 100 different varieties. Despite the aphids and my procrastination fertilizing and up-potting, they are doing fairly well. The lady bugs totally saved me from blasting them with chem. It's going to be a real pain hardening all these off. I'm not if I'll end up selling some at the farmers market or just post them online, but I'm going to have a lot of extras. It is my plan to isolate some and save seeds. I want to get my own thing going.

Looking good Higs. I need to do some tilling. The wife has some seeds she wants to start. I planted have a big patch of strawberries and garlic where most of my garden usually goes. I'm debating if I should start seeds or clones for the cannabis portion. I plan on moving them back and forth into the garage again this year so I can finish tropical sativa in Michigan. Worked great last summer.

The perspective is deceiving, but there are 70 pepper plants in this patch past the flowers. The cucumber house is to the left. Most of them are up past my waist. A lot of hots and super hots.
