I got a David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World off discogs. It's a 1972 reissue. The vinyl was rated very good plus and the seller even commented that it was awesome and was listening now. Well, it's got a scratch across the first side, pretty much the entire side, that is very loudly audible during playback and a tiny, but deep, scratch on the second side that is so bad it is loud over the loud music. I'm so bummed. Now I have to navigate the process of contacting the seller etc. I'd prefer to avoid leaving negative feedback and certainly don't want him leaving me negative feedback in return. This is very disheartening. I can't imagine this happened during shipping. Hopefully he's cool and will resolve the issue in a respectful manner. Bummer. Wow. The guy didn't even hesitate. He issued me a refund for the purchase price. So, I paid $7.28 for tax and shipping. I'm satisfied with that. |

I gave lady the Fleetfoot Mac The Alternate Collection for Christmas and we finally got around to opening it yesterday. It is pretty nice. It's clean and quiet during the gaps and soft parts. The tracks themselves are a lot of fun, too. There are a couple that are awful vocally, but most of them are an interesting perspective on songs we've known for decades.
We only got about half way through the lps. There are 8 of them.

I spent Saturday reorganizing my records and spinning some that I've got over the last several months that I didn't get around to listening yet. Kitchen Dwellers are a cool band, got Wise River and it's great. Just recently got PF - Live at Wembley 1974 DSOTM and i can't wait to get weird and spin it!
I think my collection stands at about 350-400 Records at this point. Crazy since i've only been collecting for 9 years

My brother is going to try and snag me that Allman Bros. release. The Dead is a little out of the budget. I will be yard selling and slangin’ clothes when everything kicks up so hopefully it works out and he can bring it up when he visits in a few weeks.
